ABOUT

Currently a Broadcasting Television student studying at Mohawk College. Passionate about Television and Media production. Enjoys working behind the scenes in studio and on special events. A professional and efficient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Has a strong appreciation for team play and leadership roles and this has been demonstrated at both college and external event production. Current skillsets include: electronic field production, script writing, production management and administration and creative media development.

OUA IN A SNAP
Field Producer
Entering my third year in Broadcast Television Communications. We have been given the opportunity to take an Advanced Production Class where we create a show that gets broadcasted on a local TV station. My position in this class is Field Producer. I am responsible for communicating with crew and cliental every week to produce a segment for the show. I am also responsible for making sure on air talent is fully prepped on the story and what we need to accomplish in each interview. As well as assisting with script writing and creating shot lists and call sheets for the crew.

2017 OAB (ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS)Â CONFERENCE
Volunteer
I had the opportunity to volunteer at this years, OAB Conference in Toronto. I was responsible for Registration, signing in OAB Executive Members and Students, greeting award Luncheon Hosts, assisting backstage with awards and award winners. As well as assisting the OAB Executive Director with any required tasks. I was also a Q&A mic runner, and was also responsible for event swag bags and venue setup the night before and the day of the event.

2017 VANIER CUP
Volunteer
This year I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the Vanier Cup. I was responsible for assisting U Sports with the media launch a couple days before the game. I had to greet the different Sport Broadcasters at the launch like Bubba O'Neil from CHCH, Tim Micallef from Sportsnet and other high profile guests. I was also responsible for assisting with the All Canadian Gala. This involved greeting Performers, Media & VIP guests at the gala. Taking the performers through how their performance would run and answer any questions they had. Before game day I got the chance to travel around the community with the All Canadian Team and visit the McMaster Children's Hospital and R.A Riddell Sports Academy. Then on game day I was a stats runner. Making sure all the different media outlets in the press box received stats after every quarter. A great experience!

2017 REV. JOHN C HOLLAND AWARDS
Volunteer
This year I was given the opportunity to host the 21st Annual John C Holland Awards for Cable 14. The John C Holland awards is one of Hamilton's premiere Black History Month events and it was an honour to be the host. I also got the opportunity to interview Kathryn Crooks, Co-Chair of Hamilton's Black History Committee. You can watch the awards on Cable14NOW On-Demand.

2016 SPORTÂ VOLUNTEER AWARDS
Youth Achievement Award
In 2016 I received the City of Hamilton's Youth Sport Volunteer of the Year Award. This award is presented to a local student for outstanding community service in sport as a volunteer. I was recognized for my involvement in the Pan Am Games and Stoney Creek Athletics as a track and field coach.  I have been coaching children of all ages and abilities for the last 7 years.
